The Land Transportation Office has introduced an online registration system, which offers multiple modes of payment for vehicle owners renewing their registrations. One of the available payment options is Gcash, but there are also other payment methods available on their website. This allows vehicle owners to conveniently choose the payment option that best suits their preferences.
To renew your vehicle registration through the Land Transportation Office's online system, follow these steps:
1. Login to the website portal.lto.gov.ph using your client ID, which should have dashes in it (e.g., 21-145636-1455225).
2. After logging in, select and click on the image of your vehicle, then accept the terms of use.
3. Choose your motor vehicle from the dropdown box labeled "Please select your Motor Vehicle." If you don't see your vehicle listed, you may need to visit an LTO branch and request registration for your vehicle.
4. Proceed with the registration process until you reach the payment stage.
5. Ensure that you have a valid email address accessible, as the Official Receipt (OR) will be sent to it.
6. Check your email for the Official Receipt. Congratulations on completing the renewal process!
Ensure you have correctly logged in to the website, selected your vehicle, and completed the payment process. Following these steps will allow you to conveniently renew your vehicle registration online.
Additionally, there is no longer a stencil required for vehicles and motorcycles. You can now go directly to the emission testing centers.
